A 26-year-old Ceres man was arrested for drunken driving during an early Saturday morning vehicle stop performed by a Ceres Police officer.
At 1:49 a.m., Officer Aaron Pinon was southbound on Highway 99 near the Keyes Road exit when he stopped a tan-colored Toyota Camry for vehicle code violations. He noticed that the driver, Gurlovejit Singh Dhillon, 26, of Ceres, appeared to have been drinking. After undergoing field sobriety tests, Dhillon was arrested for DUI. A submittal of a breath sample indicated that he was over two times the legal limit to drive a vehicle. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
