A 36-year-old Ceres resident was arrested Thurdsay afternoon because of several outstanding warrants for his arrest.

At 4:11 p.m., Officer Eric Souza went to the residence of Tyson Dimter in the1700 block of Darby Lane to serve the warrant. Dimter was found sitting in a car in front of the residence and taken into custody. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for the warrants.
