Bike stop nets arrest of accused theif

A 36-year-old Modesto riding a bicycle in the 1300 block of Herndon Road was arrested Saturday on a felony warrant relating to a theft charge.

At 12:33 a.m., Ceres Police Officer Christian Diaz was on patrol when he saw Amber Lout riding in an illegal manner and stopped her. Lout was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
