Two Ceres businesses suffered losses in separate burglaries that occurred within days of one another.

American Recyling, located at 2070 Morgan Road, reported that a thief went through a fence on Wednesday, May 21, to steal copper wiring that had been purchased from customers.

Police took a report at 10:45 a.m. but there are no suspects.

Police have no leads and no suspect information in the Monday break-in at Tequila's Restaurant 1530 Hatch Road in which cash was stolen.
