Ceres Police arrested David Jimenez Trujillo, 24, of Ceres, for drunken driving during an early Saturday vehicle stop.

At 1:01 a.m., Officer Jon Blount stopped a white Honda Accord at Olivero and Jim Way for vehicle code violations and quickly suspected Trujillo was drunk. He was issued a field sobriety test and failed. A breath sample also showed he had consumed twice the legal limit for alcohol to drive.

Trujillo was later arrested and booked for DUI.
