Dylan Collier, 34, of Ceres was arrested during a Monday evening traffic stop when a Ceres Police officer learned of his outstanding felony warrant for his arrest related to identity theft.

Officer Christian Diaz was patrolling the area of Whitmore Avenue and Mitchell Road at approximately 6:55 p.m. when he stopped the driver of a Chevrolet Malibu for vehicle code violations. Officer Diaz recognized Collier who was a passenger and knew about his warrant.

Collier was arrested for the warrant and booked into the county jail.
