Ceres man arrested for Rosewood burglary

A 32-year-old Ceres man was arrested Tuesday morning, March 26 after he allegedly attempted to break into a vehicle in the 2900 block of Rosewood Avenue.

When Officer Charles Lord-Huff arrived at the 6:45 a.m. call made to 9-1-1, he saw Carl Stevens running through a yard and jumping fences. Stevens was apprehended and officers discovered that he had a felony warrant issued for his arrest.

Stevens was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for the outstanding felony warrant and a burglary charge.
