Isrrael Fernandez Magana, 45, of Ceres, was arrested early Sunday morning for a felony arrest warrant related to a prior assault.

The arrest came at 1:12 a.m. when Officer Charles Lord-Huff spotted Magana while patrolling the area of Hatch and Crows Landing roads. Magana was driving an orange-colored Toyota Tacoma at the time and was stopped by the officer. Magana was arrested and transported to the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
