A 36-year-old Ceres man was arrested early Sunday after he left the scene of a hit-and-run crash in the area of Whitmore Avenue and Blaker Road. Police say he was also intoxicated.
Witnesses called Ceres Police at approximately 1:46 a.m. after the driver of a black Range Rover struck a car and fled the scene. Moments later officers located a black Range Rover near Whitmore Avenue and Lunar Drive that appeared to have been involved in a collision. Jasbir Singh, 36, of Ceres was approached at the scene and believed to be the driver of the vehicle.
