A 43-year-old Santa Clara County parolee was arrested Saturday morning after causing two disturbances in the Mitchell Road business corridor.
At approximately 9:27am, Officer Eric Garcia was dispatched to the Walmart Supercenter for a report of a disturbance. Going by the reporting party’s description of the subject being a black male adult wearing a blue bandana, white shirt, and black sweatpants, officers located David Plummer near the intersection of Service and Mitchell roads.
At that time, there were no reports that Plummer had committed a crime so he was released.
Shortly after Plummer left the area, dispatchers received a second 911 call reporting a disturbance at the Union 76 station near Starbucks with the subject sounding like Plummer. This time, dispatchers informed officers that Plummer was on parole.
Officers made contact with Plummer near Fresh Fork. A parole agent was provided details of the incident and authorized a parole hold, as Plummer was found to be in violation of his status out of Santa Clara County.
Plummer was arrested for violating the terms of his parole and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
