Committing code vehicle code violations in front of a Ceres Police officer while intoxicated resulted in a Jennifer Morgan, 41, of Ceres going to jail on Thursday evening.

Officer Eric Garcia was patrolling the area of Moffett Road near Garrison Street at 8:36 p.m. when he stopped Morgan in her Honda Civic for the violations. Officer Garcia noticed Morgan was displaying signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Another officer arrived to conduct a DUI investigation, which Morgan failed. She was arrested for DUI and provided a breath sample that indicated her blood alcohol content was over three times the legal limit to drive. She was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for DUI.
