A hit-and-run crash that occurred Sunday evening in front of a Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputy resulted in the arrest of one of the drivers.
The crash occurred at approximately 6 p.m. in the 1400 block of Grandview Avenue.
Ceres Police Officer Christian Diaz arrived on scene and contacted Breann Guitron, 35, of Ceres who was in the driver seat of a blue BMW 525i. Officer Diaz immediately suspected Guitron was under the influence of alcohol and administered a series of field sobriety tests. Guitron was arrested for DUI and provided breath samples that were three times the legal limit of a person to drive. Guitron was booked for DUI into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
