An alleged drunken driver ran his car into a parked car at Lunar Drive and Puma Way on Wednesday, July 3 and found himself behind bars.
The crash took place at 2:12 a.m. when Roy Gonzales, 23, of Ceres, ran his Toyota into a parked Nissan Sentra.
Officer Jessica Graham detected the odor of alcohol on his breath and saw Gonzales displaying symptoms of intoxication. He failed a series of field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving under the influence. He also was found to have a warrant for his arrest issued by Modesto Police for DUI.
Gonzales was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for DUI and the warrant.
