A 27-year-old Modesto man was arrested on a DUI charge after he got onto a crash with a second vehicle on Thursday evening at the intersection of Adrien Way and Mitchell Road.

The crash occurred at 5:04 p.m.

Officer Juan Ramos focused on one driver, Eric Robinson, 27, of Modesto who appeared intoxicated and had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. Robinson was arrested following a DUI investigation with a breath sample that showed he was nearly three times the legal limit for an adult to drive.

A records check on Robinson revealed that he had warrants for his arrest related to public intoxication and assault. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for DUI and the outstanding warrants.
