A Wednesday, June 26 traffic stop made on a 45-year-old Modesto driver ended with his arrest for an outstanding arrest warrant.

Ceres Police Officer Juan Ramos was in the area of Fallen Leaf Lane and Latimer Avenue at 10:23 p.m. when he stopped Jose Romo Ornelas driving a Chevrolet Silverado for vehicle code violations. When his driver’s license information was relayed to dispatchers, the system reported that he had a felony warrant for his arrest.

Ornelas was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
