A 31-year-old San Jose man was arrested Sunday afternoon while he allegedly was drunk behind the wheel, crashed into a fence and fled on foot.

At 4:14 p.m., Ceres Police responded to the El Rematito Flea Market at 3113 Crows Landing Road for a report of a hit-and-run traffic crash of a vehicle into a fence with the driver running away from the vehicle. Officers located the driver, Jose Albarran who appeared to be intoxicated from an alcoholic drink. A field sobriety test confirmed he was intoxicated and he was arrested on a DUI charge.
