A 19-year-old motorcyclist was arrested during a Tuesday evening, Sept. 17 police pursuit that started in Ceres and ended in Hughson where he lives.

At 9:54 p.m., Ceres Police Officer Charles Lord-Huff was patrolling the area of Mitchell and Hatch roads when he attempted to stop the rider on a blue and white Yamaha motorcycle for vehicle code violations. Conner Dickinson, 19, of Hughson decided to flee instead and a pursuit was initiated.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s helicopter unit arrived to monitor Dickinson’s path eastbound into Hughson. He then stopped in the 7600 block of Nannos Court where was arrested.

Dickinson was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for evading police in a vehicle and traveling the wrong way on the roadway during the pursuit.
