Reports about a group of suspicious individuals in the 1700 block of Doyle Avenue early Sunday led to a police chase and subsequent arrest of a juvenile driver.
On Sunday, at approximately 3:25 a.m. Ceres Police Sergeant Matthew Vierra located a dark-colored Honda with multiple occupants who suddenly fled the vehicle and scattering in different directions, while the Honda sped off. Sgt. Vierra initiated a traffic stop and the juvenile driver continued and led a pursuit through several streets until the Honda became immobile. The driver, a juvenile, was arrested was booked into Juvenile Hall for evading a peace officer.
