Ceres Police arrested a local man Thursday afternoon who had a warrant for his arrest.

At 1:38 p.m., Officer Eric Souza spotted 50-year-old Michael Ledbetter riding a bicycle in the 3300 block of Railroad Avenue and knew him to be wanted on an outstanding felony arrest warrant. Officer Souza stopped Ledbetter and booked him into jail at the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
