A 43-year-old Ceres man who was wanted on three Ceres Police Department issued warrants for drug offenses was arrested early Saturday.

While investigating a hit and run collision at 2:43 a.m., Officer Mike Vierra encountered Francisco Hernandez, 43, of Ceres. A check on him revealed the warrants. During his arrest and a search, Officer Vierra located drug paraphernalia on him.

He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
