A 46-year-old Turlock man was arrested Tuesday evening, Oct. 29 on a felony arrest warrant related to the possession of a firearm.

At 10:54 p.m., Ceres Police Officer Christian Diaz was patrolling the area of Hatch Road and Richland Avenue when he spotted Jose Gutierrez, 46, of Turlock, loitering in front of the AM/PM at 1700 Hatch Road. Officer Diaz recognized Gutierrez and knew about his warrant and moved in to make an arrest for the warrant.

Gutierrez was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
