A Ceres Police officer checked on two persons who were asleep in the back seat of a gray Volvo on Monday morning only to learn that one of them was wanted for an outstanding felony warrant.

During the 2:14 a.m. security check, the officer discovered that Billy Joe Ensminger, 36, of Modesto was found to be wanted. He was arrested and booked into the County Jail.
