A 41-year-old Modesto man was arrested in a Wednesday, June 26 vehicle stop in Ceres because of his felony warrant related to a possession of stolen property charge.

At 7:56 p.m., Ceres Police Officer Juan Ramos was in the area of Latimer Avenue and Ninth Street when he stopped Eduardo Viramontes for a vehicle code violation made in a Ford F-250 pickup. Through a routine records check, the officer learned of the warrant and made the arrest.

Viramontes was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
