Elbert Raymundo, 33, of Ceres, was booked Thursday for making terrorist threats against a father and son in their yard in the 2700 block of Canyon Drive.
At 9:38 p.m. police were called by someone reporting that a man was holding a man at gunpoint in his front yard. Officers arrived and saw the suspect, Raymundo, running. He hid in a rose bush briefly but he was quickly detained.
The homeowner told police that Raymundo approached him and his son in the front of their house and was threatening to kill them and refused to leave. Raymundo then started chasing the homeowner's adult son around one of the cars in the driveway.
Fearing for the safety of his son, the homeowner retrieved his shotgun from inside the house and held Raymundo at gunpoint. The suspect quieted down for brief moment then started threatening to kill them again.
