A 58-year-old Ceres man wanted to stand trial for an arson charge was picked up by Ceres Police on Wednesday evening.

Ronald Jones was contacted by Officer Jordan Justice while on patrol at 9:14 p.m. in the area of Service and Mitchell roads. A routine records check revealed the arrest and an arrest was made.

Jones was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
