A 27-year-old Ceres man wanted for a prior felony warrant for a DUI resulting in injury was arrested during an early Saturday car stop.

At 12:43 a.m., Ceres Police Officer Nate Blakeslee was on patrol in the area of Whitmore Avenue and Ninth Street when he stopped Jonathan Perez Ornelas, 27, of Ceres who was driving a white Toyota Camry and seen violating the vehicle code.

Ornelas’ warrant was confirmed and he was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
