A 29-year-old Modesto man wanted to stand charges of auto theft and possession of a stolen vehicle was found and arrested by a Ceres Police officer on Saturday.

Officer Isaac Carter was patrolling the parking lot of Cost Less on Hatch Road at approximately 1:19 p.m. when he spotted a silver Toyota Prius in a parking lot which he recognized as associated to Juan Garcia, 29, of Modesto. Officer Carter saw Garcia near the vehicle and moved in to make an arrest for the felony warrant.  He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
