Modestan, 32, arrested on felon warrant after his car was stopped

Jesus Rodriguez Sanchez, 32, of Modesto was arrested on a felony warrant related to narcotics during a Saturday traffic stop in Ceres.

At 9:24 p.m., Ceres Police Officer Angel Murillo was patrolling the area of Service and Crows Landing roads when he stopped the driver of a silver-colored Nissan Rogue for vehicle code violations. Officer Murillo quickly learned of the warrant when his driver’s license information was checked.

Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
