Marvin Hammons, 55, of Modesto was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center early Friday on a felony arrest warrant after a Ceres Police officer checked out two men standing by a broken down Nissan sedan at a closed gas station. 

Officer Matthew Myers investigated Hammons and another man at the closed gas station in the 2900 block of Whitmore Avenue at 1:24 a.m. and learned about Hammons’ warrant.
