A 32-year-old Modesto man was arrested in Ceres early Tuesday, Dec. 5 as he was pulled over while heavily intoxicated.

At 12:40 a.m., Officer Charles “Chuck” Lord-Huff was patrolling the area of Hatch Road and Central Avenue when he stopped a Ford F-550 driven by Mitchell Paso for vehicle code violations. In speaking with Paso it became apparent to Office Lord-Huff that he reeked of alcohol and appeared under the influence. Paso chose not to perform field sobriety tests but provided a breath sample that showed his blood alcohol content was three times the legal limit for an adult to drive.

Paso was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of DUI.
