A 36-year-old Modestan who was stopped on his motorcycle on Tuesday evening, June 9 was found with drugs, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash.
At 10:16 p.m. Ceres Police Officer Jesus Salinas stopped Daniel Martinez on Lombardo Avenue near Bystrum Road because he did not have a license and was on searchable probation. During a search of his backpack police found 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a large amount of cash, hypodermic syringes and a glass methamphetamine smoking pipe.
Martinez was arrested on charges of possession for sale, and transportation of a controlled substance.
