Parolee arrested after breaking window at McDonald's

A 60-year-old Ceres man who was on parole found himself in the Stanislaus County jail on Tuesday morning, Jan. 23 after he allegedly threw rocks at the glass door at the McDonald’s at Hatch and Mitchell roads.

At 8 a.m. police were called to the restaurant with a description of the transient man who had fled. Police scoured the area and found Todd Hunter on Mitchell Road and arrested him on the charge of felony vandalism. A records check revealed he was on parole and a parole hold was also placed on him. Hunter was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.

Damage to the door was estimated at $1,000.
