Ceres Police are hopeful a tip will lead them to the person or persons who stole 10 full propane tanks from the locked cage outside Richland Ace Hardware overnight.

The discovery was made in the morning when employees opened the store on Sunday, Jan. 4. The theft occurred between 7 p.m. the night before and 7 a.m. the next morning.

Anyone with information on the theft is urged to call Ceres Police at 538-5712.
