Multiple neighborhood calls to police about suspicious activity at 2233 Lavon Lane ended Saturday evening when officers arrested a resident on drug charges.

At 10:56 p.m. Officer Lorenzo Beltran made a security check around the area and when he attempted to speak to Frank Ambris, 30, he ran inside the house. Because he is on probation, Beltran found methamphetamine in plain view in the bathroom where Ambris was attempting to hide.

In the past month police have received calls about Ambris on the roof with a gun that turned out to be a B-B gun.
