Five persons suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to their extremities during a chaotic scene early Sunday involving some intoxicated persons.

Two masked gunmen escaped and are wanted by Ceres Police.

Officers were dispatched to a home in the 800 block of Allacante Drive at 2:50 a.m. regarding a shooting. Officers located five victims suffering from gunshot wounds and began rendering first aid. Ceres Fire and AMR arrived shortly after and took over care of the victims. All were transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police determined that an altercation took place between the victims and the suspects at an unknown bar in Modesto. It is not known what initiated the altercation. After the altercation the victims returned home and were in the driveway hanging out for approximately 45 minutes when at least two males wearing dark clothing and ski masks approached on foot and from directly across the street fired multiple rounds towards the residence striking four of the persons in front of the home. The suspects then fled on foot in an unknown direction. 

Detectives didn't release more details.
