A 37-year-old Stockton man was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on Thursday evening on a charge that he was driving in Ceres while intoxicated.
At 10:39 p.m., Ceres Police Sgt. Aaron Pinon was patrolling the area of Hatch Road near Central Avenue when he stopped Erick Villaes Camilla who was driving a Honda Civic for vehicle code violations. As Pinon spoke to Camilla he believed him to be intoxicated and began a DUI investigation. Camilla, who provided a breath sample that was nearly double the legal limit for an adult, was arrested and booked.
