A 30-year-old resident of Suisun City was jailed early Saturday while he stopped a stolen vehicle at the 7-Eleven store at Hatch and Herndon roads and was spotted by a Ceres Police officer.

At approximately 12:33 a.m., Officer Eric Souza was on patrol when he spotted a white 2015 Chrysler 200 which proved to be reported stolen to the Vallejo Police Department. Officer Souza arrested Rhondy Tigner Jr., 30, and booked him into the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Public Safety Center on charges of being in possession of a stolen vehicle.
