A trespassing man who set off an alarm at StorQuest Self Storage in the 3200 block of E. Hatch Road was arrested after he tried to evade police early Saturday morning.

Officers were dispatched at approximately 2:48 a.m. and quickly found Tyler Wells, 24, of Ceres, on the property. When they approached Wells, he led them on a short foot pursuit. Wells was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for resisting, delaying, or obstructing a peace officer.
