Two Modesto teens, aged 15 and 17, were arrested by Ceres Police Friday evening after they were riding around in a stolen Honda Civic.

At 10:35 p.m.  Sgt. Vince Hooper located the stolen car as I was driven in the area of Blaker  and Hackett roads. He called for backup before attempting to stop the stolen car. Before other officers arrived in the area, the suspects drove into a court and ran from the car. 

The two juveniles were captured after a short foot chase. They were both charged with grand theft auto and evading police. The Honda Civic was returned to its owner.
