Robert Viveros, 26, of Turlock was arrested for drunken driving in Ceres early Thursday morning.

At 1:15 a.m., Ceres Police Officer Angel Murillo was patrolling the area of Crows Landing and Hackett roads when he stopped Viveros in a blue-colored Nissan Versa for vehicle code violations.

Because he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, a DUI investigation resulted in his arrest. 

Viveros provided breath samples over double the legal limit and was arrested for DUI and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
