Ceres Police arrested two persons Friday evening traveling in a Honda Civic stolen in Modesto two days prior.

At 11:08 p.m., Officer Eric Souza located the stolen car on Hatch Road and followed it to the parking lot of 7-Eleven at Herndon Road and Joyce Avenue. Officer Souza conducted a high-risk vehicle stop. Driver Kory Morse, 35, of Modesto, was arrested and booked for auto theft, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen property and a parole violation. Passenger Amanda Trillo, 28, of Modesto, was also arrested for auto theft and possession of stolen property.
