Two Ceres residents were arrested on warrants when a Ceres Police officer familiar with them spotted them sitting in a car early Sunday.
At 2:02 a.m., Officer Eric Souza was on patrol in the 2000 block of Hackett Road when he observed a white Dodge sedan parked on the side of the street. Because the interior lights were on, Officer Souza recognized Corrine Reynolds, 39, and Paytan Wilson Guenther, 28, both of Ceres who he knew both had outstanding arrest warrants. Officer Souza arrested them and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
