A 44-year-old Ceres man who was wanted on outstanding felony warrants was arrested Saturday evening after he tried to peddle his bicycle away from an officer.
At 11:38 p.m. Officer Eric Souza spotted Tony Arreola, 44, of Ceres leaving the Chevron gas station parking lot at 3000 Service Road. The officer is familiar with Arreola and knew him to be wanted. Officer Souza blocked Arreola from fleeing and arrested him.
Arreola was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the warrants, which included felony vandalism, felony possession of stolen property and forgery and a misdemeanor warrant for resisting arrest.
