A Ceres Police officer familiar with 52-year-old parolee Robert Seals and his violation of parole affected his arrest on Tuesday evening, June 22.

Officer Eric Souza went to a home in the 800 block of Openshaw Road which he knew where Seals stayed. Seals was wanted by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for parole violation. Souza saw Seals inside the house and ordered him to come out but he refused. Officers forced entry into the room he had been seen in. He was arrested after being found hiding in a pile of dirty clothes.
