A minor vehicle crash that occurred Sunday morning led to the arrest of a 25-year-old driver from Ceres.

The crash occurred at approximately 3:39 a.m. in the 2500 block of Ninth Street. Officer Charles Lord-Huff made contact with one of the drivers, Joanna Gil, 25, of Ceres and suspected that she was intoxicated. A DUI investigation and a series of field sobriety tests led to her arrest.

Gil provided breath samples that were over double the legal limit. Gil was later booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for DUI.
