A woman with a blood alcohol content nearly three times the legal limit to drive was arrested after she was involved in a minor car crash on Saturday evening.
The crash was reported at 10:29 p.m. in the 2100 block of Glasgow Drive. Nobody was injured in the crash. Officers arrived and located Mirla Barahona Escobar, 40, of Modesto, who was the driver of a black Toyota Camry. Officers quickly noticed that Escobar was exhibiting signs and symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol.
Officer Angel Murillo conducted a DUI investigation and administered a series of field sobriety tests which indicated that she was intoxicated.
Escobar was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
