Chipotle will enter the Ceres market for the first time ever on Thursday when doors open at the new location in the Ceres Gateway Center, 2870 Service Road.
The Ceres Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m.
The first five people in line will receive complimentary Chipotle Goods merchandise. Guests who sign up for Chipotle Rewards will receive free chips and guacamole after their first purchase.
The Ceres location will be the first in the area to feature a “Chipotlane,” allowing customers to pick up digital orders without entering the restaurant.
The restaurant will be open 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
Chipotle is hiring to fill positions at the new location. There are on average 25 jobs per restaurant, with competitive benefits, including a crew bonus with the opportunity to earn an extra month’s worth of pay each year; a debt-free college degree program; and access to mental healthcare for employees and their families.
