Ceres Unified School District continuing the district-wide FACTOR program to help families support their children’s educational journey.

CUSD is offering weekly workshops to offer practical information on the social, emotional and physical development of children in grades TK-12, along with useful information and resources for navigating the educational system, becoming college and career ready, and developing 21st century skills.

To date, more than 360 parents have graduated from the FACTOR program.

The first workshop is titled “Preparing for the University” and will be held Tuesdays, beginning October 3 at Central Valley High School, 4033 Central Avenue, Ceres. Two sessions are offered, the first from 8:45a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and the second from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The second workshop is on “Emotional Development and Use of Technology” which is offered Wednesdays, beginning Oct. 4 at Lucas Elementary Dual Language Academy, 3500 Rose Ave., Ceres. Two sessions are: 8:45a.m. to 10:15 a.m. or from 5:30- p.m. to 7 p.m.

Attendees will “graduate” on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m.
