Daniela Rodriguez Lario honored as Rotary Club’s ‘Student of the Month’

During the May 3 Rotary Club meeting at the Ceres Community Center, senior Daniela Rodriguez Larios was presented a “Student of the Month” plaque with mother Marina Rodriguez, sister Fernanda Rodriguez and CVHS Learning Director Michelle Parrish helping to celebrate.

Central Valley High School senior Daniela Rodriguez Lario was selected for Ceres Rotary Club’s “Student of the Month” on May 3.

School officials say that Daniela is a shining example of dedication, excellence and leadership in academic and extracurricular spheres and has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to scholarship, leadership, citizenship, and volunteerism, earning the admiration of her peers and mentors alike.

As president of the campus charter of National Honor Society (NHS), her visionary leadership and dedication to service have enriched the NHS chapter and left a lasting impact on the school community.

She also served as ASB president and last year was the junior class president.

With eight years of competitive soccer experience, she brings a skill, determination and sportsmanship as captain of the CVHS soccer team. Daniela also dedicates her time to mentoring youth soccer players

Off campus, she volunteers at the Modesto Gospel Mission to work with children experiencing homelessness. Through her compassionate presence and engaging activities, Daniela brings joy and support to these children, brightening their days and providing much-needed companionship and encouragement.

Additionally, Daniela participates in Project YES drives to collect and donate necessities to those in need during the winter months.

As the first in her family to pursue college, with an offer to attend UCLA, Daniela is interested in psychiatry with an emphasis on neuro studies with children.
