Sheriff’s Department officials have confirmed that the man whose body was found near Service Road and Jennings Road in the Westport area southwest of Ceres on Sunday, Oct. 17 was a homicide victim.

Detectives have not stated how Santos Martinez, 26, was killed. His lifeless body was spotted on the north side of Service Road at 9:15 a.m.
